Heather's apartment is in Stuyvesant Town and it is gorgeous. We had a nice relaxing evening just talking, laughing, and breaking chairs (Liam). We ordered some interesting take-out and I passed out in an awkward position on the futon. Either way, it was a great night of catching up with two amazing people.
On Thursday, Liam and I took the subway up to Columbus Circle. A quick visit to Whole Foods ended up with some fresh ground honey roasted peanut butter...yum. We then walked around the Lincoln Center area...the Met, Juilliard, etc. I'm always just so in awe whenever I'm there. Afterwards, Liam and I went to Central Park for over an hour. We saw the Broadway League playing softball. It was really neat, Lion King was playing Hair, Mary Poppins playing American Idiots, etc. What a cool thing for the casts to do!
We met up with Heather for lunch near Times Square. While walking I got a little present...pooped on by a bird. It landed on my eyebrow and sunglasses. Yuck. Heather luckily had some wipes in her purse and everything was fine. After lunch I had to say my goodbyes :-( and go to the Port Authority to catch my bus home.
Overall it was a great trip, and I'm glad I got to see Liam and Heather once more before taking off. You never really need anything to do in New York. Simply walking around is enough.
It's getting harder and harder to say my goodbyes. I have perhaps my toughest goodbye coming up today/tomorrow. I'm still super excited for my trip, this is just the hard part right now.

Dude, what is it with you and getting pooped on by birds? I don't think I know anyone else who has ever been pooped on by a bird, and it's happened to you, what? - 3 times?!?!?
